The Poker Run 5K comes to the Vestal Coal House on August 30, 11:00am 2020! This a unique twist on a 5K that you will truly enjoy. Each Runner will receive 5 seperate and sealed playing cards throughout the course. After the race you can choose to keep your hand or have two chances to discard and draw three new cards with poker dealers on site at Waterman's to try and improve your hand. The best hands win cash prizes! The worst hand wins a pity cash prize! There will also be medals for over all and age group winners.
On top of this, the renowned singing barbershop, the Southerntiersmen will be singing for you to sit back and enjoy. THey will be outside on risers (weather dependent) . Also, juggler extraordinaire Will Stafford will be on sit!! There will also be whiskey and a new food menu that everyone has been going nuts over. The 5K benefits a local familt afflicted with Hunter Syndrome (three young boys - Hunter, Kingston, and Nash) We need your help - this a debaliting disease
